Norwegian nature- Preikestolen / Preachers Pulpit/ Pulpit Rock

Preikestolen, Pulpit Rock, Preachers pulpit On the Sunday last week the trio, me, Daniel and mum, went trekking up in the Norwegian mountains. If you haven’t seen Norwegian nature then you have missed out.

My mum, Corina, has done this trip like a hundred times The only place in the world that comes close for me is Yosemite in California but still there is something so serene and majestic about the fjords and mountains in Norway that is truly remarkable and unique.

In the summertime you can go for a swim in the lakes, I am happy just posing in front of one We walked up to ‘preikestolen’ or Preacher’s Pulpit / Pulpit Rock, a roundtrip that takes about 3 to 4 hours.

This is the famous ‘Preikestolen’ with me sitting on top of it. Posing is a ‘must’ ‘Preikestolen’ is 604 meters above sea level, in the midst of the beautiful Norwegian nature, and even though the rock itself is splendid,- so is the nature one the way there.

Looking out from Preikestolen

Daniel and I with our matching outfits- I know, its dorky I highly recommend anybody that is slightly fit, to take this trip- but do it soon, it gets pretty slippery in winter and spring- making it impossible and dangerous to climb.

Thank you mum for this beautiful picture, it will be our official Christmas card from Norway/Sweden During our trip there were three people who got picked up by ambulance helicopter, all tourists, so make sure you have the right gear and experience, it’s a steep climb!

The view is stunning!
