Saying goodbye to the dietitians at the geriatric ward

The lovely dietitians at the geriatric ward, I’m in white on the front row :) This Monday it was time to say goodbye to the lovely ladies at the geriatric ward. I brought with me a plate with five different gourmet cheeses, grapes, crackers, alcohol free red wine and cider. Sandra baked a delicious cake and brewed some coffee. I had also with me a gift for each and one of my four mentors. I had drawn a ‘Ann the dietitian’ single panel comic strip, dedicated to them. I will post these ones on the website later this week. They got a piece each of a four piece puzzle, to symbolize how they together completed the picture and that it wouldn’t have been the same if one of them hadn’t been there. They surprised me with a beautiful flower, which nearly brought tears to my eyes when I read the card: Congratulations with your graduation. The best wishes for the future, from your colleagues at the geriatric ward’. I have to say that the women working there are awesome, a truly heartwarming bunch of intelligent and fun women. I had a really good time, and I am sad to say goodbye, for now at least…

The perfect lunch!

Really good cake!
